Energy smart open homes week
Energy bills will rise in July due to the war in Iran. This free week-long event is an opportunity to visit Portsmouth homes that will barely be impacted, because they have been upgraded with solar, heat pumps etc.
Meet the Portsmouth residents getting ahead of the energy crisis ️⚡️
This is a week long event, where you can visit the homes of local people who have made their gas and electricity bills much lower via clean technologies.
You’ll see:
- Heat pumps – low carbon heating up to three times more efficient than a gas boiler
- Solar panels - could solar be your first step towards energy independence?
- Home insulation – a tech-free way to control how heat moves in and out of your home, all year round
With so many Portsmouth homeowners eligible for government funding for solar, batteries, and heat pumps, Energy Smart Open Homes week (27th June - 5th July) is your perfect opportunity to learn what’s possible for your own property.
